We are here to help people find Christ, connect with His family, learn from His word and serve in His love.
- We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; and that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
- We believe that the scripture of the Old and New Testaments are the word of God, fully inspired, without error in the original writings, and are the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- We believe that man was created in the image of God, but by voluntary disobedience he fell from perfection; and that all people are sinners and need God’s forgiveness. Salvation comes only through God’s saving grace, not human effort, and must be received personally by repentance and faith.
- We believe that God created man in His own image, and as such He created them male and female.
- We believe that marriage is between one man and one woman.
- We believe God the Father is perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His sinless Life, miracles, and teachings, His death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His personal, viable return to Earth.
- We believe the Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips and empowers believers for personal growth and service to the church. He is abiding helper, teacher, and guide. The Spirit of God regenerates the elect sinner and draws him irresistibly to faith in Christ the Savior.
- We teach that the elect, who are called by grace, are justified in the sight of God on account of the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ, which is received by faith alone, and not any works they have done.
- We believe repentance and faith are sacred duties, and also inseparable graces, wrought in the souls by the regenerating Spirit of God. If we turn to Him with truly repentant hearts and confess our sins, receiving Him as our Lord and Savior, He will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Sanctification is the process by which, according to the will of God, we are made to stand holy and blameless before Him; that it is a progressive work beginning at regeneration; and is carried on in the hearts of believers by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, in the continual use of appointed means- especially the Word of God, self-examination, self-denial, watchfulness, and prayer.
- We teach that God’s elect prove themselves to be such by enduring to the end; that God has ordained all things by His providential means to work together for the eternal good of those whom He has called through faith in Jesus Christ.
- We teach that the Law of God is eternal, unchangeable, holy, just, and good; that the moral law of God is summarized in the Ten Commandments, which continue today to be the standard of righteousness which guides lost sinners to the Lord Jesus through a conviction of sin.
- We teach that a visible church of Christ is a congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel; observing the ordinances of Christ; governed by His laws; and exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word. We believe that its only scriptural officers are elders, pastors, and deacons, whose qualifications and duties are defined in the epistles of Timothy and Titus.
- We teach that Christian Baptism is the immersion in water of a believer into the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to show forth our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life. We believe in the Lord’s Supper, in which genuine believers, by the sacred use of the bread and cup, are to commemorate together the dying love of Christ, preceded always by solemn self-examination.
- We believe the Lord’s Day is the first day of the week and is to be kept sacred in gathering to encourage one another and devote ourselves to the observance of all the means of grace, both private and public.
- We teach that civil government is of divine appointment for the interests and good order of human society. The magistrates are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored and obeyed, except only in the things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the only Lord of the conscience and the King of kings on earth.
- We believe that at the end of the age, which is approaching, Christ will descend from heaven and raise the dead from the grave to final retribution, where a solemn separation will then take place. Those forgiven through Jesus Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. The wicked will be adjudged to endless punishment in hell. This judgement will forever fix the final state of men in heaven or hell, on principles of righteousness.
